SPEEDY RETURN TO WORK

ELDERLY UNEMPLOYED MEN (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, September 2. The Minister of Labour (Mr Ernest Brown) on his return from visiting the South Wales training centres said plans would be devised for a speedy return to industry of elderly unemployed men, of whom there were 20,000 in South Wales unemployed for six months and over. The success of the training centre at Merthyr was encouraging.
