The winners of last week’s match were:—Senior: Miss I. Rhodes. Junior: Mrs G, Mitchell. PERSONAL Mr E. D. Cuttriss, of the windowdressing staff of Messrs H. and J. Smith, Ltd., Gore, has received notice of his transfer on promotion to the Invercargill shop of the firm. Mr Henry Smith, of Waikaka Valley, left Gore yesterday for Wellington, to attend the annual meeting of the electoral committee of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board. Mr N. D. Murray, who has been on the staff of the Gore branch of the Bank of New Zealand for the last two years, has been transferred to the Christchurch branch. During his stay at Gore Mr Murray took a keen interest in sport and was a member of the St. Andrew’s Tennis Club and the Gore Badminton Club.
