Drummond CONCERT
Mr E. W. Wright’s Old Timers’ Concert Party staged a successful concert in the Drummond Hall recently. Proceeds were in aid of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union funds. The programme was as follows:—Bagpipe selections, Mr C. Sutherland; vocal solos, Mrs Beattie, Miss M. Sutherland, Master J. Hewton, Mr E. Wright and Mr A. Baldwin; humorous items, Mrs Beattie, Mr E. W. Wright and Mr A. Baldwin; Irish jig and violin solo, Mr T. Howard; comet duet, Miss Miller and Master J. Hewton; Highland fling, Miss Miller; tap dance, Miss E. Cook; guitar selections, Miss Donovan and pupils.
