At the fortnightly sale of sheepskins today prices declined slightly on most grades of finer-wooled sound pelted skins, the top price for fine halfbred being 173 d as against 17Jd last sale. STOCKS OF EGGS AND EGG-PULP (United Press Association) ■ WELLINGTON, August 24. A census of stocks of eggs and eggpulp in cold storage was taken by the Government Statistician as at July 31 and the following figures have been issued by the Minister in Charge of the Census and Statistics Department (the Hon. W. Nash). The figures are for the North Island, the South Island and the Dominion respectively:—Eggs in shell (oz) 960, 370, 1330; egg-pulp (lb) 41,840, 48,455, 90,295; egg white (lb) 440, 2300, 2740.
