Miss McKenzie spent the weekend with her parents in Winton. Miss R. Robinson spent a few days in Invercargill during the week. Mrs E. Kelly, Invercargill, is the guest of Mrs W. Kelly. Miss C. Dahren spent a short holiday in Invercargill recently. Mrs E. Donaldson has returned from a holiday at Wrights Bush, where she was tiie guest of Mrs Brown.Miss T. Tinker spent a few days in Invercargill-last week. At the weekly cribbage and euchre evening conducted by the Convent Committee, the prize-winners were Mrs W. Kelly, Mrs G. Cappie, Mr W. Kelly and Mr M. Cournane. . , . ’ The weekly flag 500 in aid of tiie school funds was well attended. The prize-winners were Mrs A. Laidlaw, Miss K. Hunt and Mrs J. Malcolm. Mr and Mrs A. Wardle, who were recently married, entertained some or their friends at a dance and social evening. During the evening items were given by Miss E. Griffiths, Miss M. Dahren, Miss T. Tinker; Messrs G. Brazier, C. Mason, K. Klemick, P. Esplin and M. Cappie. Accompaniments were played by Miss C. Dahren and Mr H. Tinker. Mr G. Brazier, on behalf of those present, thanked Mr and Mrs Wardle for their hospitality. Among those present were Misses R. Robinson, C. Dahren, T. Tinker, T. Klemick, M. Dahren, M. Welsh, V. Reid, A. McInerney, M. Sheddan, G. Robertson, D. Tinker, E. Griffiths, M. McCoy, E. Tinker; Messrs B. Lawton, G. Brazier, H. Saunders, R. Duncan, M. Mclnerney, E. Hunt, C. Mason, J. McColl, C. Welsh, E. Thomson, M. Cappie, D. McColl, P. Esplin and K. Klemick.
