LINTON COAL MINE
RESUMPTION OF WORK
Work was resumed in the Linton coal mine at Ohai yesterday after the men had held>.a stop-work meeting at which the agreement reached by the directors and the men’s representatives (Messrs L. S. Edmond , and A. V. Prendeville) on Thursday night was ratified.
It was announced yesterday that the two men whose notice of dismissal had expired had been reinstated and stood down for a week.
