INCREASED FREIGHTS IN PACIFIC
AUSTRALIAN LINES SHIPPED TO AMERICA SYDNEY, June 17. Increased freight rates on a number of lines shipped from Australia to American countries have been agreed to by Sydney agents for shipping companies engaged in the Pacific trade. No increase has yet been made in rates for goods shipped from America to Australia, but it is expected that increases will be announced in a few days.
