DANISH FRIENDSHIP WITH BRITAIN
(British Official Wireless) (Received June 17, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 16. The coming retirement at the end of the year of the Danish Minister in London (Count Arlefeldt Laurvig) was referred to at a dinner of. the AngloDanish Society by a Danish member, who said: “We Danes look to the British King and nation as the defenders of freedom and parliamentarism, and . a perusal of Danish newspapers during the Coronation showed that the British and Danish Press took the same interest in that marvellous occasion.’
