Acting Chief Postmaster The Solicitor-General has advised the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Timaru that a stay will be entered in the cases against Clement Lyall Dewar of alleged illegal use of an instrument and alleged manslaughter. This means that there will be no further prosecution. Dewar was tried last session of the Supreme Court and two juries failed to agree on the major charges.— Press Association.
