One of a party travelling north on an athletic expedition and concerned in the throwing of an automobile sign over Paekariki Hill, a youth, was fined 15/- in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court yesterday. The Magistrate told him to go to his pals and between them they could make up the damage. “If there is any sportsmanship,” he said, “they will appreciate your action in coming forward.” —Press Association.
