ANZAC DAY SERVICES. INVERCARGILL RETURNED SOLDIERS’ ASSOCIATION. ANZAC DAY MEMORIAL SERVICES SUNDAY, APRIL 25, 1937. THEATRE SERVICE. THE Invercargill Returned Soldiers’ Association will hold a Service in the Civic Theatre, commencing at 2.45 p.m. Ibis Service is for adults. Reserved seats will be available for elderly people in the Dress Circle on application to the office at R.S.A. Club. Seats are reserved in the Stalls for Sisters and Nurses of the N.Z.A.N.S. The public are invited to send wreaths to be used at the Service. These wreaths will afterwards be placed on the Soldiers’ Memorial and on Soldiers’ graves at the Cemetery. ANZAC DAY PARADE. All Ex-Servicemen (whether members of the Association or otherwise) are requested to parade at the Drill Hall at 2 p.m. sharp on Sunday, April 25, 1937, to take part in the Anzac Day Parade and Service. Johnson of 34 Thomson Street, Invercargill, of Messrs Johnson & Mortimer, Sawmillers, for a licence to construct a . private tramway across the Otara-Haldane Road from Section 18, Block 11, Otara S.D., into Section 14, : Block H, Otara S.D., the position of the tramway to be approximately one chain from the Waipapapa Bridge on the west side. The plan of the proposed tramway is deposited at the Office of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, and may be there inspected without fee during Office hours.
