VALUE OF CAR RADIO
That cars fitted with radio are a national asset has been proved during the great floods in America, states the Autocar. Anyone who was able to listen-in to the United States radio stations must have been impressed by the awful S.O.S. calls for assistance and the instructions given out by the authorities. At one time there came a call for all radio-equipped cars to report at a certain point, and it was not difficult to realize how valuable private cars can be in a national emergency if they are fitted with radio, which places them under direct control of a broadcasting station.
