Arrested on his arrival at Patea Lionel Francis Grimstone, clerk to the Geraldine Borough Council, appeared in the Patea Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of the theft of moneys from the Geraldine borough. He was remanded to Timaru. —Press Association.
The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department advises that mails which left Auckland on March 23 via Vancouver arrived in London on April 13.
