LODGE MEETING
COURT QUEEN OF THE SOUTH C.R, Sister E. Rose presided over a big attendance of officers and members at the fortnightly meeting of the Court Queen of the South Lodge, A.O.F. The Woodwards reported visiting the sick. P.C.R. Brother Horan, of Court Star of the South, reported on the shield competition. Court Pride of Gore being the winner. An invitation was received from Court Southern to attend its meeting and social on May 13, it being its anniversary night. It was decided to leave the final arrangements of (he juvenile meetings until May 5. At an earlier meeting C.R. Sister L. Mason, of the Juvenile Court, presided over the officers and members of Court Princess of Invercargill. P.C.R. Brother J. Holland, president of the Juvenile Council for the United Otago district, presented Court Princess with the' Folley Memorial Shield for the biggest percentage of new members for the year. Councillor Brother Horan also spoke on the work of the Juvenile Court, and urged the members to maintain the good work they had been doing. It was decided that the meetings would be fortnightly, beginning on May 5, at 7.15 p.m.
