THE WOOL MARKET THIRD SERIES OF LONDON SALES (Received April 21, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 20. The third series of London wool sales for 1937 will begin on April 27 and ends on May 6. The catalogue totals 63,300 bales, including 31,150 from New Zealand and 18,050 from Australia. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cabled advice from their head office under date of April 20, 1937:— At the April wool sales we expect a strong demand with the following advances:—Merino, 5 per cent, to 7 J per cent, higher; crossbred, 10 per cent, higher.
