Johnson of 34 Thomson Street, Invercargill, of Messrs Johnson & Mortimer, Sawmillers, for a licence to construct a private tramway across the Otara-Haldane Road from Section 18, Block 11, Otara S.D., into Section 14, Block 11, Otara S.D., the position of the tramway to be approximately one chain from the Waipapapa Bridge on the west side.

The plan of the proposed tramway is deposited at the Office of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, and may be there inspected without fee during Office hours.
