G-MAN DIES OF WOUNDS

ROBBERS ON MURDER CHARGE (Received April 19, 11.55 p.m.) TOPEKA (Kansas), April 18. W W. Baker, the G-man (Federal agent) who was shot by robbers who evaded his attempt to arrest them yesterday, died today. The robbers will be charged with murder and the death penalty will be asked. It was Baker’s first assignment for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
