Mr F. Walsh has returned to Invercargill after a holiday in Ceritral Otago. Mr Alfred C. Iggo has been appointed assistant master at the Gore school. He was formerly at the Orawia school.

Messrs R. T. Meredith and L. R. Lopdell will leave by the express this morning to represent the Southland Rugby Union at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union in Wellington. Mr Edmund Anscombe, head of the firm of E. Anscombe and Associates, Wellington was yesterday appointed architect for the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition.
