ANOTHER APARTMENT MURDER
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER FOUND DEAD (Received April 5, 9.15 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, April 5. Edna Worden, aged 48, and her daughter Marguerite, aged 12, were found dead in an apartment with their heads crushed by a brick. The girl was nude in bed. A physician said she had been attacked. The police believe the slayer is identical with the killer of Rose Valdez, aged 20, who was battered to death with a brick in an apartment on March 2 while her baby in a crib was unharmed.
