GUN EXPLODES BY ACCIDENT
FOUR MEN INJURED ON BATTLESHIP LONDON, March 5. The Admiralty announces that a gun on H.M.S. Ramillies was loaded with a starshell overnight and when it was being cleaned the following morning was fired. Four men were injured, though it is believed that none was seriously hurt RATINGS INJURED ON H.M.S. HOOD MOORING WIRE SNAPS (Received March 7, 6.30 p.m.) GIBRALTAR, March 6. The battleship Hood was mooring after exercises when the mooring wire snapped and seriously injured four ratings. One died in hospital.
