BOXING CHAMPION TO BE SUED
BRADDOCK MAY HAVE TO MEET SCHMELING (Received March 5, 11.20 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 5. Madison Square Garden has announced that it will charge J. J. Braddock, heavyweight boxing champion of the world, with anticipatory breach of contract, and will seek a Federal Court injunction to force him to meet Max Schmeling, the German champion on June 3. Because of the impending suit, Schmeling has postponed his exhibition tour.
