SIR HARRY LAUDER
VISIT TO INVERCARGILL TOMORROW Sir Harry Lauder, the eminent Scottish comedian, will arrive in Invercargill tomorrow evening, and after a short stay in the city will leave for Edendale for a short holiday and for the lakes for a fishing trip in company with Mr J. W. Smith. Sir Harry will be accompanied on his trip south from Wellington by Mr Donald Macdonald, of Edendale, with whom he has stayed on previous visits to New Zealand, and he will afterwards be a guest of Mr J. W. Smith at Mr Smith’s country house at Wanaka. Sir Harry is a keen fisherman, and since his arrival in New Zealand a few days ago has several times expressed his hopes for good sport in Southland. During his stay in Invercargill Sir Harry will be a guest at the Grand Hotel. ______________
