SIR TRUBY KING

BURIAL GROUND SET ASIDE. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, October 20. A section of land on Mount Melrose, Wellington, is set ’ aside as a burial ground for Sir Truby King “whenever his death may occur” by a clause in additions to the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Bill, which were introduced in the House of Representatives by G_overnor-General’s Message tonight." The site is between Sir Truby’s present residence and the Karitane Hospital, and provision is also made for reburial in the same site of the late Lady King. The body of Lady King is interred at the Porirua Cemetery and the Bill provides for its exhumation and reburial at Melrose after the death and burial of her husband.
