CHINESE COMMUNISTS ON MOVE
TROOPS NEARING JAPANESE POSTS. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright • London, October 18. The Peking correspondent of The Daily Herald says that Communist armies clashed with Nanking troops in the Kansu and Shensi provinces. The former were victorious, and are moving towards the western provinces, where Japanese troops are stationed. The Japanese are anxiously watching the situation, alleging that the Soviet is assisting the Communists.
