They must be addressed to the Chairman, and marked outside “Tender for Contract No. (and name of work).” Specifications and drawings can be seen at this office. Also for No. 1031, 1032 at Messrs Mac Gibbon & Co., Ltd., Gore; for No. 1035 at Messrs Wright, Stephenson & Co., Ltd., Edendale; for No. 1036 at Messrs C. H. Wyeth & Son, Woodlands; for No. 1038 at Messrs C. & S. Goldthorpe, Waikaia; for No. 1039 at Messrs Jos. Green & Son, Ltd., Riversdale; for No. 1040 at Mr R. Kirkland’s Store, Mataura Island. Tenders must be in accordance with contract schedule and must be accompanied by deposit. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
