BIBLE CLASSES
FIRST ANNUAL RUGBY MATCH. Playing at Biggar street on Saturday the combined Presbyterian Bible Classes defeated the combined Methodist Bible Classes in a Rugby match, by 28 points to 19. This match was the first to be played for a shield donated for annual competition between the 'Methodist and Presbyterian Bible Class movements in Southland. Mr W. J. Hislop was the referee.
