WOMAN CANDIDATE
COMMON COUNCIL OF LONDON CITY. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, September 18. A business woman practising as an income tax consultant in the City of London has announced her intention to offer herself as a candidate for the Court Common Council in the ward of Cripplegate. She is the first woman candidate for the Common Council of the City of London.
