END OF STRIKE AT LILLE
WAGES INCREASED BY 6 PER CENT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Paris, September 17. The Minister for the Interior (M. Salengro) announced that an agreement had been reached ending the Lille strike. It provides for an increase of 6 per cent, in wages. Thirtyfive thousand textile workers are returning to work immediately.
