BRITISH FIRM TO MAKE NEW
TYPE OF CANNON.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, September 17. A British firm has acquired a licence to manufacture an American invention of a 1.457-in. cannon which fires 100 one-pound explosive shells a minute. It is expected to revolutionize aerial fighting.
