Future Jack Tars.—To remedy the shortage of personnel in the British Navy, which was demonstrated during the recent crisis in the Mediterranean, the enlistment of youth is being accentuated in England. This picture shows some of the boys undergoing training. For the purpose comparatively modem warships are in use, their normal crews (considerably short of establishment) being transferred to bring the most modem ships to full complement.
