DWELLING DESTROYED BY FIRE
A‘ dwelling owned and occupied by Mrs R. Slee, of Fortrose, was completely destroyed by fire. The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen, Mrs Slee being awakened by some falling material. Although Mrs Slee was assisted by her neighbour, Mr D. Anderson, and her son, Mr C. Slee, who has been receiving treatment for an injured arm, only a few personal belongings were saved.
