Mokoreta THE SPORTS SOCIETY
The president, Mr W. G. Leckie, presided at a meeting of the committee of the Mokoreta-Redan Sports Society. The resignation of the secretary, Mr John Patterson, who is leaving the district, was received. Mr Leckie expressed regret at Mr Patterson’s approaching departure. It was decided to appoint a new secretary at a meeting to be held in November.
A social gathering was held, at. which items were contributed by Messrs F. F. Leckie, T. Mcßride, T. Skinner and W. G. Leckie.
