A DANGEROUS DOG
OWNER IN COURT (United Press Association.) Wellington, August 14. “A dog -which I am satisfied has attacked two human beings cannot be allowed to live,” said Mr Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court when evidence had been heard in a case in which William John Warden was charged with being the owner of a dangerous Alsatian dog which attacked Montague Alfred Lucas in Hobart street, Miramar. “A dog cannot be allowed to jeopardize the safety of a human being,” continued Mr Mosley, “I will adjourn the case for a week, or a fortnight if necessary, pending the destruction of the dog. If it is destroyed I shall know what to do; if it isn’t I shall also know how to proceed. In that case a formal order will have to be made.”
