RATE NOTICES. WINTON RIVER BOARD. Public Notice of intention to make a General Rate and of the proportions it is proposed to appoint on the several classes of land in the district. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of section 87 of “The River Boards Act, 1908” and section 9 of “The River Boards Amendment Act, 1913,” the Winton River Board intends at the meeting to be held on the sth day of September, 1936, to levy for the year commencing on the first day of April, 1936 and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1937, a General Rate on a graduated scale on the unimproved value of the several classes of land according to the classification of the land within the district in the following proportions:— ;jd in the £ upon lands in Class A. gd in the £ upon lands in Class B. l-16d in the £ upon lands in Class C. The rate will be payable in one sum on the 12th day of September, 1936, at the Municipal Offices, Winton. The Valuation Roll and Classification List is open for inspection.
