BOWER.— (Suddenly) at Mossburn, on August 13th, 1936, Alexander D. Bower; aged 58 years. (25th Reinforcements, N.Z.E.F. Artillery). The funeral will leave the Mossburn Hotel at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, 15th, for the Lumsden Cemetery.—Williamson and Co., Undertakers.

DOWLING—At Otatara (suddenly), on Wednesday. 12th August, 1936, Thomas Edwin, beloved husband of Lily Dowling; aged 56 years. FRIEND—At Gore, on August 8, 1936, George, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Jane Friend, Broughton Street, Gore; aged 68 years.
