The Book Club
~BLNCK. BEAUTY. Black Beauty is a very nice book for anybody who likes horses. It is all about Black Beauty, who is a horse, and his kind and cruel masters. —Sent in by Cousin Mhari Hamilton. THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS. Through The Looking Glass. This is my second best book. It is really the further adventures of Alice. This tells how she went through a mirror. She has a funny time with the White Queen, and the Red Queen. Near the end, Alice becomes a Queen. This book is suitable for children from nine to fourteen. —Sent in by Cousin Elva Denoon.
