A MUSICAL EVENT MISS BINA ADDY. COMING TO INVERCARGILL. MISS BINA ADDY (pupil of Mario Cotogni, Rome, Elene Gerhardt, Leipzig and Fredric King, late of the Royal Academy, London), is the only Indian woman who has sung professionally in Rome, Paris, Berlin and London. She has also broadcast from Berlin and from London on several occasions, and has appeared in London before Royalty and distinguished audiences. She has recently concluded a Broadcast tour of the YA Stations in New Zealand and has won the‘hearts of Radio listeners, who enjoyed her beautiful singing and the wonderful clarity of her voice. Miss Addy will appear in H. & JSmith’s Tearooms next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons at 3.15 and Friday night at 9.15. She will include in her programme Indian, German and by request, popular English and Scottish Songs, as well as Spirituals. Tables are now being reserved for this musical event. —Advt.
