NO CLAIMS FOR INTEREST
HOLDERS OF ALBERTA BONDS. REDUCED RATE NOT ACCEPTED. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Edmonton, June 15. No bondholders appeared at the Alberta banks to-day to claim the interest due on 2,000,000 dollars in bonds, which the Premier (Mr W. Aberhart) had announced would be paid at only 3 per cent, instead of 5 per cent. The bondholders at a meeting previously had decided to refuse to accept the reduction and to await developments. ___________
