NURMI’S RECORD BROKEN. AMERICAN STUDENT’S GREAT TWO-MILE RUN. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Princeton, June 14. Donald Ray Lash, aged 22, a student of Indiana University, to-day shattered Paavo Nurmi’s two-mile record. Lash’s time was Bmin 58 3-10 sec, compared with Bmin 59 6-10 sec established by Nurmi in 1931.
