In connection with the King s Birthday which is being observed as a holiday on Tuesday next, the Railway Department have arranged a most satisfactory service. Additional express trains will run on certain days for the benefit of those desirous of travelling to Dunedin for the week-end and visiting the Winter Show and Races, while special fast trains have also been arranged for in connection with the Country Day Football Matches and Basketball Tournament to be held at Invercargill on the public holiday.
