SWITZERLAND SPENDS ON DEFENCE

LOAN OF £15,000,000. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Berne, June 11. The Council of State has approved a credit of £15,000,000 to strengthen Switzerland’s defences. Half will be devoted to anti-aircraft defences for the principal cities and the remainder to fortifications, armaments and aeroplanes.
