TEA MAKING RULES
1. Make the tea-pot really hot. 2. See that the pot is dry before putting in the tea. 3. Make sure the water in the kettle is really boiling before pouring it on to the tea. 4. Pour only enough water in to wet the tea first. Put the lid on the pot, then the cosy and leave for three minutes, then fill up the pot with boiling water. 5. Allow to stand for another two minutes. 6. Further water added later should be boiling, not just hot. 7. In very cold weather warm the cups before pouring the tea into them. 8. Don’t mix different blends of tea See the caddy is empty before putting in a fresh packet.
