Weather permitting, the Tamatea will make her usual run to Stewart Island today, leaving Bluff at 10.15 a.m. and returning in the late afternoon. The Britannia arrived from Stewart island at 12.30 p.m. yesterday. The Marama finished loading on Monday night and sailed early yesterday morning with mails and passengers for Melbourne. The Federal liner Northumberland arrived at Bluff from Wellington at 4.50 am. yesterday. She loads Southland produce and mails and sails about the week-end for Great Britain. , ~ . Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co., report that the Canadian Britisher, which was due at Bluff on February 14, will not now arrive until the 17th. Due at Bluff from Oamaru about Tuesday. February 18, the Matakana will load meat, dairy produce and general cargo for London and West Coast ports. The Shaw. Savill vessel Mataroa was expected to leave Wellington yesterday afternoon and arrive at Bluff on Thursday morning. There she will discharge general cargo from London, loading wool and dairy produce. She is expected to sail on Monday for Port Chalmers. With a'cargo of raw sugar, the steamer Antiope is due at Auckland about February 19 from Cuba. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that its motor-liner Rangitata left London last Thursday for Wellington and Auckland, via Kingston and the Panama Canal. She is due here on March 12. . , The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that its liner Tamaroa reached Southampton lost Thursday morning. She left Wellington on January 3 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. The intercolonial steamer James Cook reached Auckland last Friday from Sydney. She is due at Wellington to-day and will later proceed to Greymouth to load for Sydney and Melbourne. Holm and Co. are the local agents. SOLD FOR SCRAP. The Coriolanus which has finally gone to the scrappers, was built at Dumbarton in 1876 and had the reputation of having one of the most beautiful hulls afloat. She had a very famous career and some fine passages, latterly sailing under the Portuguese flag for- some years. In 1932 she was brought by an American syndicate who renamed her Hispaniola and were going to refit her to combine scientific and pleasure cruises. The scheme failed through lack of capital, and since then she has changed hands many times, and many schemes have been published for utilizing her fine old hull, but they have never come to anything.
