DROWNED IN SHEEP DIP

TWO-YEAR-OLD BOY’S DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, February 11. The two-year-old son of Mr Alf Brustad, of Waiau, was drowned in a sheep dip at his father’s home to-day. The child was with his father in the wool shed. He was unobserved for a few minutes and was found ten minutes later in the sheep dip. Resuscitation measures failed to restore animation. A doctor was called immediately but the child was dead. The child’s mother was well-known by her maiden name of Miss Aroha Clifford who died when the baby was born.
