DISPERSAL SALE. COMPLETE UNRESERVED DISPERSAL SALE ' OF THE FAMOUS BURNSIDE (ROMNEY STUD. JANUARY 16, 1936, AT SOLWAY SHOWGROUNDS, MASTERTON. THE Trustees in the Estate of the late Adam McKay, Masterton, have decided to disperse the famous BURNSIDE Romney Stud. The Stud was established with ewes from the late Alfred Matthews’ Waiorongomai Flock (No. 21) with two successful annual selections of ewes of the highest quality. At a later date, a small selection of special ewes from the late C. A. J. Levett’s Flock (No. 99) was added. Practically all the sires used in this flock were of the notable Waiorongomai strains, and as the flock has been heavily culled annually, it can be recommended as one of the best bred and most typical Romney studs that has yet been dispersed in the Dominion. The approximate number will be:— 800—STUD EWES—2 shear and over. 200—STUD EWES—I shear. 220—STUD EWE LAMBS. 200—RAM LAMBS. Inquiries are invited by the Auctioneers for further particulars.
