Mrs James McLennan and family, Mataura, are the guests of Mr and Mrs M. P. Lyng. Dr and Mrs E. S. Fossey and family leave this week on a holiday to be spent in Auckland. Mrs and Miss Shand, of Winton, have been the guests of Mrs A. Provan, Havelock street. Mr and Mrs J. Cooper, of Wellington, are visiting friends in town and district. Mr and Mrs Hilliers and Mr and Mrs McGregor (North Dunedin) have been staying at the Globe Hotel. Mrs A. Dobbie, of Auckland, is visiting her parents—Dr and Mrs N. G. Trotter—and was present at the Black-ler-Trotter wedding. Miss Magkill, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs C. Gordon. Mrs D. Little, Gore, is visiting her parents. Mr and Mrs P. B. Berndtson, Havelock Street. Miss Rita Hodges has returned from a holiday spent in Invercargill. Mr and Mrs Macgregor Cameron, Dunedin, are staying with Dr and Mrs Trotter. Miss Gifford, South Riverton, has been visiting friends in Invercargill. Misses Maisie and Isabel McKenzie, of Lady Barkley, have been spending a holiday at the popular seaside.
