ANGLING COMPETITION. The second angling competition for the Roche Cup was held on the Pomahaka River during the week-end, 11 competitors taking part. The best bags, with the handicaps and actual weights in parentheses, were:— H. B. Clifford (20 per cent.), 13 fish (141 b 8oz), 171 b 6oz. F. Hoffman (scr), 10 fish (121 b 011 b), 121 b OJoz. W. McKenzie (5 per cent, behind), 6 fish (61b 15oz), 61b lOoz. C. Giles (120 per cent.), 5 fish (51b 3oz), 111 b 6oz. B. Parker (75 per cent.), 4 fish (31b 13oz), 61b lOoz. A. E.
