CANADIAN PREMIERS
PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE. FAILURE OF MONETARY PROPOSALS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Ottawa, December 14. The conference of Provincial Premiers failed to adopt the proposal of Mx- Mi F. Hepburn (Ontario) for the establishment of a Canadian loan council and the launching of a debt conversion schedule. The conference, however, decided that the Dominion should assume a larger share of Canada’s relief burden and also that the Dominion should obtain the right to amend its own constitution, instead of being required to receive permission from Britain.
