RIFLE SHOOTING
GORE CLUB. The members of the Gore Defence Rifle Club fired for a trophy presented by Mrs R. Knibbs, last week. The ranges were 300 and 500 yards. G. L. Sadd was the winner with a total of 95, including three points handicap. The Matthews button for lop score off the rifle goes to W. D. Milne with 94. The spoons for range prizes were won as follow: At 300 yards by W. D. Milne with a scratch 47; at 500 yards by G. L. Sadd, with 48, including one point handicap. The following were the detailed scores, with handicaps:—
