SPRING MEETING.

In spite of a dull day and threatening rain there were a number of large hats and light ensembles at the Spring meeting of the Invercargill Racing Club last Saturday. Trim suits m lightweight tweeds were much in evidence and shoes showed a distinct tendency towards the low heeled sporting style.
